My Fitness Journey Continues with New Discoveries

My journey started with me stepping on the scale and having 292 lbs staring back at me with a slap of reality that I was over weight. I quickly joined my local gym and got to working out and doing cardio to trim the excess. After a couple of weeks, I only saw a few pounds come off the scale. I became incredible frustrated and confused as to what I was doing wrong.

The answer was one that many hate to admit and that is my diet was all wrong. After making a few changes, a few more pounds came off. The work I was putting in was not reflective on the scale, so I turned to a local Orlando Personal Trainer to guide me to get back down to my ideal weight.

After several weeks with my new trainer, I saw the weight fly off and it was all beginning to pay off. He changed my diet and workout routine along with my overall attitude. This change was something I wasn't ready for and many of my personal issues needed to be sorted out in order to fully love and embrace my new look.

After some thought, I knew I needed to seek out the guidance of an Orlando Counselor, preferably someone who specialized in anxiety counseling in Orlando or depression counseling in Orlando.

After some research I came across Suzanne Rucker who was amazing at assessing my issues. After several sessions, things began to come to light as to way I was feeling anxious and depressed. My depression stemmed from how people were beginning to treat me versus how they did when I was heavier. My anxiety stemmed from wanting to maintain my new look and impressing people with my evolving body changes.

I inevitably put pressure on myself to look a certain way when I should of been focusing on my success. For those relating with my same story, contact Suzanne Rucker!
