My Fitness Journey Continues with New Discoveries

My journey started with me stepping on the scale and having 292 lbs staring back at me with a slap of reality that I was over weight. I quickly joined my local gym and got to working out and doing cardio to trim the excess. After a couple of weeks, I only saw a few pounds come off the scale. I became incredible frustrated and confused as to what I was doing wrong.

The answer was one that many hate to admit and that is my diet was all wrong. After making a few changes, a few more pounds came off. The work I was putting in was not reflective on the scale, so I turned to a local Orlando Personal Trainer to guide me to get back down to my ideal weight.

After several weeks with my new trainer, I saw the weight fly off and it was all beginning to pay off. He changed my diet and workout routine along with my overall attitude. This change was something I wasn't ready for and many of my personal issues needed to be sorted out in order to fully love and embrace my new look.

After some thought, I knew I needed to seek out the guidance of an Orlando Counselor, preferably someone who specialized in anxiety counseling in Orlando or depression counseling in Orlando.

After some research I came across Suzanne Rucker who was amazing at assessing my issues. After several sessions, things began to come to light as to way I was feeling anxious and depressed. My depression stemmed from how people were beginning to treat me versus how they did when I was heavier. My anxiety stemmed from wanting to maintain my new look and impressing people with my evolving body changes.

I inevitably put pressure on myself to look a certain way when I should of been focusing on my success. For those relating with my same story, contact Suzanne Rucker!

The Start of My Fitness Journey

We all find ourselves at some point of our lives contemplating whether we need to get back into the gym or get more serious about the gym.

Well that thought came into my mind this summer when I put on an excess of 20 or so pounds being stuck at a desk job and lost for time to go to the gym.

My initial thought was get off the couch and start running. I lost a few pounds, but found myself still feeling bloated and at a rut.

Then I thought, What am I doing wrong?!

After some serious deliberation, I decided I need to hire a Personal Trainer.

Living in the Orlando area, I was lucky to be surrounded by tons of gyms and personal trainers, but they all seemed like a-holes at first and extremely expensive!

After browsing the internet and visiting my local gym, I came across Orlando Personal Trainer Paul Southern.

After sitting down with Paul, I recognized I had it all wrong.

My diet was wrong, my form needed to be altered when working out and I needed to start doing more cardio.

Sounded easy right? Wrong, the diet was tough at first and so were the new exercises.

After 2 weeks of hard work, I began to adjust to the new lifestyle and began to love it!!

I will keep you up to date on my Fitness Journey as it goes along.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a trainer to visit EmpoweredbyPaul.com
